The Economic Costs of an Unhealthy Latino Population

The growth of Latino poverty has become increasingly evident during the post-Reagan years. Although this new social trend should not be surprising in light of the significant reductions in social programs during the Reagan administration, it does have implications for the scope of health problems faced by Latino workers and their families.
