ABSTRACT
Runner: It is my pleasure to introduce another First Nation’s scholar, Joyce Schneider, who received her Master’s degree from the University of Northern British Columbia. She is one of the few people who were invited who has not completed a doctoral dissertation, but we felt her story was important since our ideas about alternative research apply to all academic research, not just doctoral level and because her story says much about doctoral level research as well.
