ABSTRACT
Vicente is a 10-year-old boy whose reading problems were evident in kindergarten. He was subsequently diagnosed as dyslexic in fi rst grade. This diagnosis was confi rmed in fourth grade. At the beginning of the interview he appeared to be very restless and unfocused. However, as the interview continued, Vicente became friendly, relaxed, and cooperative.
