ABSTRACT
João is a 10-year-old child who was diagnosed as dyslexic at the age of 7 when he was in fi rst grade. João is a reserved child who is very interested in school. He is highly verbal, but has few friends. Throughout the interview, he responded enthusiastically to all the questions of the interviewer. João impressed the interviewer as being very expressive and eloquent in relation to his feelings and preferences.
