ABSTRACT
Feminist science and technology studies (FSTS) is an area of detailed empirical research, lively intellectual and political debate and cutting-edge conceptual development within gender and women’s studies, and the social sciences and humanities more broadly. Here, we describe aspects of the complex relationship of feminist researchers to science and technology studies (STS) as a fi eld and suggest what in FSTS might be of interest to feminist academics working in other areas. The chapter addresses three core questions:
1) What have feminists brought to STS? 2) What have feminists found to be of most interest in STS? 3) What have feminists working in other areas borrowed from FSTS?
