ABSTRACT

Over the last 20 years, there has been a marked increase in the recognition that hiring the right people can have a dramatic impact on an organization’s success. However, knowing which applicants will be successful in the organization has always been a difficult process for many organizations. In order to make the process more clear and data driven, companies have attempted to develop specific selection systems to use during their hiring process. Selection systems are fundamentally decision-making processes that are used to determine who will be hired as well as which workers already present in the organization should be promoted to a different level or functions within the organization.
