ABSTRACT

In my first encounter with this book it was already conceived as a corner stone in the curriculum for teacher training. Young teachers should be trained to better understand their clientele, especially the children in the phase of transition from childhood to adolescence. Because we as young students between 16 and 18 years old were still in the middle of this life phase, it became as an unintended side-effect a foundation enabling us to better understand our own life paths and our own inner turbulences.
