ABSTRACT
At present, the Spanish university system is undergoing a process of reform and renewal of the curricula which make up university degrees. Some of these curricula have now been offered for several decades without modification. Furthermore, the range of the degrees themselves is very limited when compared to that of universities in other countries, a point which is receiving special attention.
