ABSTRACT
Climate change disproportionately impacts vulnerable communities globally. For some of the most vulnerable, these impacts will force them to move within and across borders, challenging international law to provide a coordinated and just means for migration. This chapter explores the phenomenon of ‘climate-induced migration’, identifi es the sociological and legal uncertainties that surround it, and suggests areas of further research to respond appropriately to the emerging crisis.
