ABSTRACT
This chapter refl ects on issues and challenges associated with sustaining the trajectory of Africa’s recent progress. It also synthesizes the key messages and take-aways from this book and points the way forward for enhancing and sustaining the recent progress made by African economies and businesses in their journey towards signifi cant economic transformation. That forward path is conveyed by a new model, the VASCES model, which encapsulates a dozen dynamic levers that must be committedly pulled to accelerate Africa’s transformation. This chapter discusses each of the identifi ed transformational levers. It also challenges stakeholders to urgently put these levers to work as part of the fi nal push for a new resurgent Africa.
