This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts discussed in the various chapters of this book. The book talks about mobile learning research and development activity, alongside the contextual mobile learning. There might also be ethical concerns about contextual mobile learning, and these will evolve as it moves from the domain of institutional research ethics to educational professional judgment in formal learning and public regulation and legislation in informal learning. The future of contextual mobile learning may depend on its perceived alignment with various other fashions, trends and developments elsewhere within education. At the moment these include MOOCs, the flipped classroom, and open educational resources (OER). The book focuses on mobile-assisted language learning and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education. It also focuses on awakening of interest amongst international agencies such as UNESCO,International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and International Labour Organization (ILO) in mobiles as the vehicle for educational and humanitarian mission.
