ABSTRACT
The goal of this chapter is to do some of that exploration and reflection while reviewing both the current status of gender equity in mathematics and current gender equity efforts. The chapter seeks to provide information on change within a context of current gender equity efforts, to examine areas of success and lack of success, and to explore some implications for future gender equity efforts in mathematics education.
