ABSTRACT

This chapter outlines the story of a vision and the project that developed from it. Creating the Resource Center for Language Minority Students (RCLMS) enabled educators in New Jersey to work collaboratively to better serve the adult ESL and bilingual education (BE) students of our state. We hope that the ESL professionals who read this chapter will be inspired to create their own statewide resource centers, and that our writing of this chapter may in some way be instrumental in the re-funding of our RCLMS.
