ABSTRACT

One of the challenges currently facing the Meeting of Frontiers (MoF) collaborative digital library project is how to organize large quantities of interpretive text to best serve the user and also allow room for future growth. The Meeting of Frontiers production team has conducted two rounds of focus group exercises with American and Russian teachers (K-12) in an effort to answer this question and develop a new

framework for the site, sometimes with surprising results (at least for the MoF team). This paper concentrates on the testing of the content structure and how that is shaping the long-term organization of the site’s interpretive text.
