ABSTRACT
The London Borough of Waltham Forest, located in East London, covers the areas of Leyton, Leytonstone, Walthamstow and Chingford. The mission statement of the Service is as follows:
It is the mission of the London Borough of Waltham Forest Educational Psychology Service to provide a service which applies psychological understanding and skills to promote the education, development and well-being of children and young people, particularly those experiencing significant difficulty and disadvantage, by working with children and young people themselves, their families, teachers and other professionals, and also by contributing to organizational and policy development.
