ABSTRACT
The aim of this essay is not to examine all aspects of the intervention of Britain and France in Russian affairs between the Bolshevik Revolution of November 1917 and the end of the Russo-Polish War in September 1920, which would be an enormous undertaking. Rather, it is to examine Anglo-French relations insofar as they found expression in their respective policies towards Russia.
