ABSTRACT
Canizaro Cawthon Davis is an architecture, planning, and interior design firm located in downtown Jackson, Mississippi. The Owner/ Architect purchased the 1907 S.N. Thomas’ Sons Building in February 2000, with the desire to renovate and re-use the existing complex to create a pleasing and efficient office space for a mid-size architecture firm, leasable tenant space, and on-site parking. Goals included wanting to highlight the merchant history of the building while contrasting it with new construction, benefit the City by maintaining its past, and complete the project, from purchase to move-in, in five months.
