Props and models checklist ■ How will the objects be obtained? Will it be by buying them, hiring them
or commissioning a model? ■ Will the object need to be practical (i.e. work) or is it just for dressing? ■ What special arrangements need to be made for fire, water, electricity,
hazardous substances, flammable objects, glass, firearms and other weapons, smoke guns, food and drink (hygiene), valuable objects (e.g. money or jewellery) and animals? (This list is not exhaustive – think about every object that you use.)
■ What insurance will be needed? ■ What security arrangements will be needed (e.g. guards or firemen)? ■ If the object is going to be used in a demonstration, who will give it and
will any special training be needed?
