ABSTRACT
Mining is one of the oldest human activities. Since the prehistoric time, extracting mineral resources has played a very important role for building our civilizations. As the old mining proverb states “where she be, there she be,” where there are minerals to be extracted, humans will rush there, even if they need to battle with extreme conditions.
