ABSTRACT
High-end automation in material handling has been a complex and expensive marvel to small-scale industries till date. Labor intrinsic transportation, the constraint of an external energy source, manual operation modes make a high proportion of total operating costs of the plant. These depict a holistic room to develop a cost and energy effective automatic material handling system for small scale industries. The present work aims to design and develop an automatic material handling system which can accomplish maximum objectives of material handling. The new system is also compared with some old design of the similar approach to ascertain the magnificence of the design and found to be better in 272all aspects. The implementation and utilization of present eco-friendly material handling system found to be a feasible and profitable way to handle and transport milk products in Sadguru Dudh Sangh Pvt. Ltd. Empirical results specify that the present system is cost-effective and time saving due to the automatic handling without using any external energy source.
