ABSTRACT
A wide variety of fruit and beverage crops are grown in the tropics but few of them are intensively cultivated using modem crop production practices. The commercial use of growth regulators on tropical fruit and beverage crops appears to be restricted to those crops that have been grown on sufficient scale to justify the research support required to evaluate crop responses to them.
