ABSTRACT
When planning a new surgery development it is very easy to get carried away with the excitement of planning the appearance and practicalities of the building itself while possibly overlooking the fact that this development will form one of the greatest investments that GPs will undertake in their lifetimes. As such, it can provide a tremendous opportunity for profit but also a great risk of financial loss if the financial viability of the project is not carefully reviewed.
