Introduction

In 2002 Bradford was awarded a £1m grant from the New Opportunities Fund to set up a Healthy Living Centre based on men’s health. The foundation of the grant application was the work being undertaken by the Bradford Health HoM key workers, a group of practitioners who had developed innovative men’s health services for some of the hardest to reach groups in society.
