ABSTRACT
In healthy individuals, there is an equilibrium between the natural antioxidative defense system and the reactive oxygen species (ROS), generated from both living organisms and exogenous sources. When the equilibrium is disrupted, the ROS can induce oxidative and cause cellular damages to various biomolecules [38]. As a result, the excess of free radicals 274can damage both the structure and function of cell membrane in a chain reaction leading to degenerative diseases [40,85].
