ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The study aimed at investigating the correlation between job stress and Psychological Well-Being (PWB). Moreover, the moderating effect of religious coping in this relationship was also investigated. The sample for the current study consisted of 336 employees (bank employees and government officials), with a reasonable mix of demographic characteristics, working in public institutions and private companies. The data were obtained using a job stress scale, PWB scale and a religious coping scale. Significant correlations were obtained between job stress and PWB, as well as between religious coping and PWB. However, the moderating effect of religious coping in the correlation between job stress and PWB was not obtained. These results were discussed with extant literature.
