ABSTRACT
Recent years have witnessed a tremendous growth in the demand for mobile data communication. According to the latest Cisco Visual Networking Index update [1], global mobile data traffic grew 69% in 2014 and reached 2.5 EB per month at the end of 2014, which was up from 1.5 EB per month at the end of 2013. In the next 5 years, this number is predicted to increase nearly tenfold, with a compound annual growth rate CAGR of 57% until 2019, reaching 24.3 EB per month by 2019.
