ABSTRACT

A wealth of information is entered on a daily basis into electronic health records (EHRs), radiation oncology information systems (ROISs), treatment-planning systems (TPSs), picture archiving and communications systems (PACSs) and various other electronic systems in the course of treating patients. That should mean that information is readily available as a source to learn what has and has not worked for treating patients today so that we are better informed for treating patients tomorrow.
