α1-Antitrypsin deficiency

In infancy and childhood: hepatic disease with conjugated hyperbilirubinemia, hepatocellular damage presenting in a neonatal hepatitis pattern or isolated hepatomegaly. In adulthood: emphysema of early onset. Each has deficiency of α₁-antitrypsin.
