ABSTRACT

Mobile malware is a malicious software entity used to disrupt mobile operations and the related functionalities. This chapter presents and discusses the implementation of the present state of mobile malware. It also proposes machine learning–based classification of android applications to decide whether these applications are malware or normal applications. Malware detection technique by permission analysis approach and package malware setup is also presented and discussed in the last part of this chapter. Routine analysis of the planned system into terms of time required is also presented to validate the proposed findings.
