Water contamination is a persistent problem for public health. Protection against pathogens requires disinfectants; however, the combination of increased disinfectant doses and multiple disinfectants leads to the production of harmful byproducts. Due to prevalent use of antibacterial agents, antibiotic-resistant bacteria have emerged; thus, antibacterial agents and therapeutics treat the bacterial infections. The impact of nanoparticles on bacteria helps us to gain an understanding of the impact of nanoparticles on the mechanistic understanding of toxicity and can guide us to design the rules to create a safe environment. Magnetic particles are used in a vast variety of biomedical and engineering disciplines. But there are limitations pertaining to tunable shapes and sizes. An important impact in many different fields is due to plasmonic hybrid nanostructures.
