ABSTRACT
The Duke of Newcastle said, he was desirous of putting a question to the noble duke at the head of his Majesty’s government, as to the intentions of ministers in relation to one topic alluded to in the Speech from the Throne. He begged leave to ask the noble duke, whether it was his intention to proceed, on the subject of Roman Catholic disabilities, by moving for the appointment of a committee to take those disabilities into consideration, or to bring the question under the consideration of their lordships by means of a bill?
