ABSTRACT

This research aims to (1) develop a cultural map media, (2) discover the feasibility of the product, and (3) determine the effectiveness of the product in overcoming cognitive learning difficulties in Social studies for fourth grade elementary school students. The type of research was RnD, adopting the ADDIE model. The result of the research is the development of cultural map media to be used in the learning process in an elementary school. The experts validation tests showed that the mean score was very feasible (score: 80.89); the teachers’ response stated that the assessment was very good (score: 82.67); and the students’ response stated that the assessment was very good (score: 90.39).
