ABSTRACT
In most areas where grazing of cattle is practiced under coconuts, the pastures are composed of "natural" species. Such species are weeds or adventive plants which spread without conscious effort by man, but which must be controlled to reduce harmful effects on coconut. Most "natural" pastures are really weedy, untended lands which receive little or no management. Animal production and coconut yields are usually low.
