ABSTRACT
Much has been written about microcomputers in agriculture. Farm and ranch magazines, extension newsletters, and computer trade magazines have all carried such articles. Thus, it may seem that discussion of the past usage of this relatively new technology would be somewhat ludicrous. But taking a brief look at the past usage should prove helpful as we consider the present and plan for the future.
