ABSTRACT
There is a wealth of information on electrochemical properties of manganese compounds, both in aqueous and nonaqueous media. This chapter provides a brief summary of the aqueous electrochemistry of manganese compounds. A more complete discussion of the electrochemistry of these compounds, including nonaqueous electrochemistry, may be found in the Encyclopedia of the Electrochemistry of the Elements [1].
