ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the practical application of hotmelt adhesives for the woodworking industry. It describes the application areas for woodworking hotmelts and hotmelt types, as well as their formulation and manufacture. Included, too, is an in-depth discussion of requirements and problems commonly associated with the use of these materials and their bonding substrates.
