ABSTRACT
PVA adhesives are widely manufactured, water-dilutable products. They consist of a stable suspension of polyvinyl acetate particles that dry to give a continuous film of polymer. The estimated production was 250,000 tons in 1985 in northern Europe [1] and 715,000 tons in the United States in 1986 [2].
